David M. Weiss antiques is a third generation antiques business, started in 1921. It is owned and operated by David Weiss and Barbara Jasmine. We specialize in 18th and 19th century American furniture, American art, particularly landscapes and portraits, and decorative accessories. Textiles, folk art, clocks, weathervanes, stoneware, and architectural are also items we carry.
Our other interests revolve around our golden retrievers. We compete in field trials and hunt tests, and DockDogs. Presently, we have Bullet (12), Laser (5), and Laser's only son, Judge (1 1/2).
Barbara has been in the bookkeeping/accounting field for many years and is presently working for a lighting firm in Lee, MA. She just completed two years of being the treasurer for her dock diving club and she's also a past treasurer for our golden retriever club.
I work full time in the field of rail heating. After my last company closed, I landed in the city of North Adams, MA. doing the same work as well as my new position of Quality Manager. I am currently the Vice President of our golden retriever club and am also a past President.
Our staff (Barbara & myself!) is happy to answer questions at the store, over the telephone at (413) 229-2716 or via our contact form. Stop by and say hi. We welcome your inquiries.
