Fedreal cherry tall case clock.  Time and strike, unsigned face with moon phase dial.  Dovetailed bonnet.  Tombstone relief on base with french feet.  93" tall.  Ca. 1800.  Pennsylvania origin.  Ex. Bronx Historical Society.


Scarce 'banjo' clock signed J. Polsey & Co.,Boston, Mass.  John Polsey worked for the firm of Howard and Davis from 1852-1856, and this clock is similar to the Howard #5 in size and glass.  John Polsey & Co. produced clocks from 1860-1864.  Rare cherry case.  Finial TBD.  The clock is in good working order.  35" high.


Lustre pitcher with hunting dogs.  Dog form handle.  Hairline at rim.  19th century.  5 1/2" high X 4 1/2" wide.


Oil on canvas laid down to board; signed "J. Syer" lower right.  John Syer 1815-1885.  English.  Minor inpainting upper right.  Contemporary frame.  Sight: 9" x 12 1/2".  Overall: 14 1/4" x 17 1/2".

2-Color woven coverlet signed [Rudy & Bowman Lancaster Co Pa]; Red, green & natural with acanthus border, edges with signed shield bodies in each corner bordered by roses and foliage; center star medallion with foliate trimmings; fringed on 3 sides; 1-piece construction.  Measures: 74"L x 67"W.  Light wear.


Early 19th century lustre pitcher with horse and rider, and dog motif.  Honeycomb base and grapevine top.  Old line repair.  5 1/2" high X 5" wide.


Another oil on board by Bissell Phelps Smith (1892-1962).  There is a partial artist's label on the back.  Sight: 10 3/4" X 15 1/4".  Overall: 13 3/4" X 18 1/4".


Simple but pleasing show towel signed Machdelena Bercke.  In blue and red with birds, flowers, and hearts.  Some minor staining.  Probably Berks County, Pennsylvania.  19th century.  43" X 17".


Larger lustre pitcher with stag and dog decoration.  Vine borders and twig handle.  Minor expected paint loss.  7 1/4" H X 5" W.  First quarter 19th century.


Landscape oil on board signed Bissell Phelps Smith (1892-1962).  Sight: 11" X 15".  Overall: 15" X 19".


Very fine Pennsylvania jacquard coverlet signed "M. Hoke In Dover York Co. 1840 R.R. Rahauser".  Martin Hoke (1815-1893) was weaving in Dover 1833-1842.  97" X 86".


Pair of portrait miniatures, possibly wedding portraits.  Watercolor and gouache on paper.  They appear to be in their original frames.  Great detail.  Early 19th century.  Probably Pennsylvania origin.  Sight 4 3/4" X 3 3/4".  Overall 8 1/2" X 7 5/8".


Dome top chest in original green  paint.  Free hand paint decoration on top, sides, and front.  Owner's initials "MS" on top. 19th century.  31 1/4" X 15 1/4" X 13".
