Antiques

A family business for 102 years this year!

For 102 years, my family has offered antiques of all varieties. The elements of business I have been handed down are that of honesty & integrity. I stand behind all items I offer for sale and I try to describe them as best as I can.

New Items

An absolutely vivid watercolor on linen still life.  There is a little damage along the bottom of the view and the glass has been replaced but the colors are fabulous.  With a butterfly and a bird, the artist executed a really nice package.  The frame appears to be original and and added feature is a copy of the Declaration of Independance on the reverse.  It measures 22" X 27".

Portrait of a young man.  Signed in the lower right corner S. Mason.  Also signed on the reverse S. Mason Painter May 1830.  Sanford Mason (1798-1862) was active in R.I. and Mass.  Oil on panel.  28" X 23 1/2".

"Fishing at the Mill"  Really nice 19th century oil on canvas of a fisherman and mill.  This is probably a NY state painting and it is framed in a later grain painted frame.  It is a pleasing package measuring 28 1/8" X 31 1/4".

E. Howard #70 regulator clock. Original panel. Oak case in an old surface. #70 impressed on weight. Bezel latch is missing. This style dates to mid-19th century. Approximately 31" high.

Mahogany card table wth banded cuffs and seven inlaid oval panels.  North shore of Mass. Ca. 1800-1810.  35" W X 17" D X 29 H.

Sweet little Charlestown stoneware jug.  Very nice condition.  19th century.  9" H X 5 1/2" W.

Lustre pitcher with two hunting scenes and landscape in relief.  The top is banded with grapes and there is an angel figure on the handle.  Ex. Wynn A. Sayman with label.  Ex. D.M. Manheim.  Excellent condition.  Ca. 1815.  5" H X 6 1/2" W including handle.  On a personal note, I knew Wynn Sayman who passed in 2015.  He was a great collector/dealer and a gentleman.

Stafforshire pink lustre pitcher with ridged body and central medallions of cottage scenes.  Top banded with roses in relief.  Notched handle.  Small chip on top of spout.  Illustrated in W.D. Jones & Dr. Warren Baker's Old English Lustre Pottery, #3 & #36.  Ca. 1820.  5 1/4" X 5 1/2" including handle.

Coverlet signed by John Keagy, Bedford, CO., PA.  Probably 1850-1860.  Very good condition.  (I don't have the size so size by request.)

Patriotic coverlet by Isaac Brubaker dated 1836.  With eagles and stars.  Brubaker was in New Holland, PA. circa 1832-1838.  78" X 94".  A few stains and thin spots.

This is a beautiful coverlet signed by William Ney, Meyerstown, Lebanon Co., PA.  With a floral design and 3 colors.  Excellent condition.  Mid-19th century.  80" X 82".
